Ameco and Lufthansa Technik cooperation

Ameco and Lufthansa Technik sign Memorandum of Understanding for 
cooperation in business aircraft services

Signing ceremony at Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition 
(ABACE)

On April 17, 2018, Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation 
(Ameco) and Lufthansa Technik AG have signed a Memorandum of 
Understanding (MoU) for in-depth cooperation of support for business 
jets at Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE).

The intent of this cooperation between Ameco and Lufthansa Technik 
will be the establishment of a long-term cooperative partnership, 
which will combine mutual strengths to provide the best support for 
Chinese clients and to jointly develop the business jet market in 
China as such. Both parties will work closely together to improve and
extend the availability of technical support for business jets in 
China, as well as jointly develop new solutions demanded by the 
market in order to continuously provide high quality services to 
their customers in China.


Ameco:
Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation (Ameco) is a joint 
venture between Air China Limited (75%) and Lufthansa German Airlines
(25%). Ameco is an Asian leading and China's largest maintenance, 
repair and overhaul company. Headquartered in Beijing, Ameco has set 
up four Business Units of Beijing Base, North of China Line Center, 
Chengdu Branch, Southwest Line Center, as well as line maintenance 
Branches in Chongqing, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Hohhot, Shanghai, Wuhan, 
Guiyang, Guangzhou and Wenzhou. Ameco possesses maintenance licenses 
authorized by CAAC, FAA, EASA and almost 30 countries or regions, as 
well as a Designated Modification Design Organization Representative 
(DMDOR) authorized by CAAC. It has more than 160 maintenance stations
at home and abroad, forming a large maintenance network worldwide.

world. Certified internationally as maintenance, production and 
design organization, the company has a workforce of more than 25,000 
employees. Lufthansa Technik's portfolio covers the entire range of 
services for commercial and VIP/special mission aircraft, engines, 
components and landing gear in the areas of digital fleet support, 
maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, completion and 
conversion as well as the manufacture of innovative cabin products.
