Terrier and Lon Miller, Jacobs general manager of the Clear Lake Group, will tour the company’s facilities and learn more about its diverse product portfolio of NASA projects, ranging from a ground-based space debris sensor to the action cameras used to capture point-of-view video outside the International Space Station during astronaut spacewalks.

Jacobs performs work on more than 100 projects for the agency at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, including the Capsule Parachute Assembly System (CPAS) for the Orion spacecraft; hardware and engineering services for the International Space Station; and technology development for deep space exploration.

Following the tour, Terrier and Miller will make brief remarks and take questions from reporters about NASA’s partnership with American small businesses and the agency’s investments in space technology that enable future missions to the moon, Mars and beyond.

Journalists interested in attending the tour should contact Gina Anderson at 202-358-1160 or gina.n.anderson@nasa.gov by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
