Fabrice Brégier aux commandes d’Airbus


Le nouveau Président et CEO d’Airbus nomme son Comité Exécutif

Suite à sa nomination par le Conseil d’Administration d’EADS, Fabrice Brégier (50 ans), jusqu’ici Chief Operating Officer (COO) d’Airbus, occupe désormais le poste de Président et CEO d’Airbus. Il succède ainsi à Tom Enders (53 ans), qui devient CEO d’EADS.



Le mandat de cinq ans de Fabrice Brégier commence aujourd’hui avec la nomination du Comité Exécutif :



Guenter Butschek (51 ans) devient le nouveau Chief Operating Officer (COO) d’Airbus, chargé des fonctions Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Lean, IT & Communications Technology.



John Leahy (61 ans) poursuit ses fonctions de Chief Operating Officer – Customers ; Tom Williams (59 ans), Executive Vice President (EVP) Programmes ; Charles Champion (56 ans), EVP Engineering et Domingo Ureña-Raso (54 ans), Head of Airbus Military. Outre leurs fonctions principales à Airbus, trois membres du Comité Exécutif se voient également confier des responsabilités au niveau d’EADS : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) pour Harald Wilhelm (46 ans), EVP Human Resources pour Thierry Baril (47 ans), et EVP Procurement pour Klaus Richter (47 ans).



Le programme A350 XWB, piloté par Didier Evrard, restera directement rattaché à Fabrice Brégier.



“Mon équipe et moi-même sommes à la fois heureux et honorés de reprendre le leadership d’une société hautement performante. Notre but au cours des cinq prochaines années est de renforcer la position de leader d’Airbus dans le développement et la production des meilleurs avions du monde. Nos objectifs restent les mêmes et, bien qu’introduisant quelques changements, nous prévoyons une continuité globale. Nos priorités sont la montée en puissance sans heurts des cadences de production, la poursuite de l’intégration et l’expansion de notre présence mondiale”, a déclaré Fabrice Brégier à l’occasion de sa nomination. “Je suis convaincu qu’il est primordial de continuer à bâtir sur les compétences et les valeurs fortes mises en place par Airbus.”
